2nd Annual Muslim Day at the Capitol

Hello, all! Friday, Feb 26, the second annual Muslim Day at the Capitol is taking place and we would like to accomplish two things: 1) Show Oklahoma we are a diverse and supportive people from every belief system! 2) Assist the Muslim community in having a safe and productive day interacting with the legislature and other Oklahomans. There are two ways you can help! First, we would love for you to sign up for one or both of our support activity timeslots - 8 to 9:15 am and 2:30-4pm, when members of the community are coming and going from the events. Second, you are welcome to volunteer to help the Council of American Islamic Relations (CAIR) with activities happening inside the Capitol between the beginning and the end times if you wish.

And here is the link for CAIR's volunteer website. If you sign up for both, please alert Adam Soltani and the CAIR staff on your form that you will be outside helping for one or both of the support times, to help them plan for when you can be with them: Thank you! You, like TIA and CAIR, know how great and loving are the people of our interfaith community. Let's show the rest of Oklahoma, and the world! Sincerely, Noel and Carl Carl Rubenstein, MD President, The Interfaith Alliance Noel Jacobs, PhD Chair, Beyond Coexistence Vice President, The Interfaith Alliance
