Commonly Asked Questions:
What faiths will be represented?
Amazing Faiths is faith-neutral and its sole purpose is to promote understanding and friendships.
A wide range of guests is invited through the Interfaith Alliance, as well as our co-hosts. Every effort will be made to ensure that diversity is represented at each table. For instance, you may be seated with individuals who practice Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Sikhism, Universalism, Baha’i, or meet Atheists and Agnostics – all are welcome to have conversations in a safe and engaging environment.
Will anyone try to convert me to a certain religion?
No. Proselytizing and evangelizing are prohibited. Moderators are trained to ensure that everyone is treated with respect and not coerced into any specific viewpoint. Again, Amazing Faiths is faith-neutral.
Will I know anyone else at the dinner?
Most guests meet each other for the first time at these events because the purpose is to connect people from different faith perspectives who would not otherwise have the opportunity to get acquainted. The Amazing Faiths team will place spouses together if so desired, but will fulfill the purpose of the initiative by ensuring diversity at each table.
Are there seating limitations?
Because our purpose is to promote diversity, limitations have been placed on the number of seats available to each faith group to ensure balanced representation. However, a waiting list has been created for your convenience and we hope you will join us for future gatherings.
